We created Strength in the Faith (SITF) to help grow the faith, wisdom, knowledge and spiritual maturity of brothers and sisters in Christ. As the Great Commission highlights, spiritual understanding and growth is a process that requires brothers and sisters to help each other move forward and grow. It does not immediately happen once you hear the word but is gradual.

Our capacity for spiritual growth is always there, and SITF is here to assist, encourage and inspire growth. Scripture reading and prayer tools are available with weekly reading guides and a monthly blog post introducing the country we are praying for. We hope that the many groups we have created on Facebook will enable many valuable relationships to be built and insights to be shared. The blog posts will present sporadically, addressing various relevant subjects and issues.

It is essential to understand that while SITF is an organization, this is simply a framework covering the true essence, which is yourselves. SITF is a community looking to be their best for God. We are a community that cares and supports each other and wishes to see God given the priority and glory He is due.

While we are blessed to have what we do as Christians, blessedness is not a synonym for expedience; our lives are not easy, nor was this God's intention. As the author of Ecclesiastes illustrates, it is about seasons (3:1), and chance has its bearing (e.g. 9:11). As such is the case, we have many experiences taking us to high and low places. These experiences are valuable and may be worth sharing with others, so I encourage you to share and invest in the growth of each other online.
