As the name suggests, this website intends to assist in personal growth and understanding. SITF is about strengthening faith by recognizing the character, power and strength of our God, ourselves, the church, and the Christian faith. Maturity and growth are instructed in the New Testament (e.g. Ephesians 4:1-16; Hebrews 5:11-14; 6:9-12) for good reason. Like the roots of a plant not strong enough to endure a storm, difficult times in our life can take us out of the ground and blow us away from our faith too. As the value of investing time, understanding, action and love is evident during uncertain and challenging times in any human relationship (e.g. mother and child, husband and wife, two friends, etc.), it is the same with God: it can be too late if we wait until the last minute.

The Bible readings are a point of focus, as are the countries that we pray for monthly. These are valuable because they present good opportunities for sharing questions and insight on our Facebook groups. These are designed to build your connections, creating companions in your joint efforts to find purpose, understanding and fulfilment. Sometimes when reading Scripture - or living life in other ways(!) - we can have questions that we need to ask others, and we hope that the Facebook groups will be helpful. Sharing learned insights, personal inspirations, and acts of God’s providence are equally important.
